Principal Electrical Engineer required for a well established leading energy engineering consultancy. In this permanent role, you'll be at the forefront of driving sustainable solutions across the energy sector, from oil and gas to hydrogen, carbon capture, nuclear, and offshore renewables. Preferred Requirements:
- Leverage your extensive experience in electrical engineering, HVAC, APEX, and high-voltage systems to drive project success
- Serve as a Senior Electrical Authority and Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring the safety, integrity, and reliability of electrical generation and distribution assets
- Manage the electrical budget and have a direct influence on the site's annual maintenance, shutdown, and capital expenditure plans
- Lead a team of electrical engineers, inspectors, and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with client teams, acting as a trusted partner to assure project value and success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex electrical engineering projects
- Expertise in navigating legislative requirements and the Electricity at Work Regulations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and clients
